Cool off inside OMSI with hands-on exhibits, a kid-specific science playground, and rotating exhibits that make learning feel like play. A go-to for curious kids of all ages. I have to feel brave to do OMSI with my two kids who seem to go in opposite directions at the speed of light, but I never regret visiting when we do.
3. Local Nature Walks
Portland is full of green spaces—try a forested stroll through Hoyt Arboretum, an easy loop at Tryon Creek, or a stroller-friendly walk around Laurelhurst Park. Bring binoculars or a nature scavenger hunt printable to keep little ones engaged.
